CosmoScout VR is a modular virtual universe developed at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). It lets you explore, analyze and present huge planetary data sets and large simulation data in real-time.

Meso-NH is the non-hydrostatic mesoscale atmospheric model of the French research community. It has been jointly developed by the Laboratoire d'Aérologie (UMR 5560 UPS/CNRS) and by CNRM (UMR 3589 CNRS/Météo-France).

The iPIC3D code is an implicit parallel Particle code mostly used for space plasma simulations of magnetic reconnection, collisionless shocks and solar wind interaction with magnetic dipoles.

ParaView is an open-source, multi-platform data analysis and visualization application. ParaView users can quickly build visualizations to analyze their data using qualitative and quantitative techniques. The data exploration can be done interactively in 3D or programmatically using ParaView’s batch processing capabilities.

The Topology ToolKit (TTK) is an open-source library and software collection for topological data analysis and visualization. TTK can handle scalar data defined either on regular grids, triangulations or point clouds, in 2D, 3D, or more. It provides a substantial collection of generic, efficient and robust implementations of the key algorithms in topological data analysis.

This is the VESTEC marshalling and control system, otherwise known as the VESTEC system, and resides in the VESTEC box of the diagram below. It interacts with end users, external data sources (e.g. sensors), and HPC machines to enable urgent workloads. Full documentation is available here.

These work on ARCHER2 and Cirrus for now. They should be simple enough to adapt to other machines by providing a new set of platform-specific config files.
